Rose Bulgarian Absolute
Using a process called solvent extraction, the petals of Rosa damascena are extracted to produce this highly concentrated oil (read more about absolute oils here). The aroma of this oil is deeply floral and sweet. This middle note oil blends well with Bergamot, Chamomile, Geranium, Helichrysum italicum, Jasmine Absolute, Lemon, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Ylang Ylang.
In Aromatherapy, roses are particularly great and have the highest vibration of all flowers. There are so many uses for this essential oil; let’s see what you can create.
We have a tendency to associate this hearty flower with a particular day in February, but there’s so much to love about it all year long. Part of the reason why Rose is so closely associated with romance is that it contains properties that can help alleviate anxious or depressed feelings. Topically, if you’re looking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other minor skin imperfections, Rose Absolute can be beneficial. This oil contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that help keep skin healthy and hydrated. Like other floral essential and absolute oils, Rose can be used as an aphrodisiac to promote positive emotions. We recommend lighting a Rose-scented candle from our Floral Line and preparing a healthy dinner to enjoy together (or you can use the roll-on as a lovely perfume everyday).
