Holiday Gifting with Essential Oils

by FabulousFrannie

The holidays aren’t only about receiving, but giving as well. So why not give your favorite loved ones, or the coworker you drew for Secret Santa, a gift that not only smells delightful, but can also help renew and restore their mind, body and spirit during this hectic season?

(Pssst… These recipes are great for your pocketbook as well.)

As with any gift you buy, make or bake for someone, it’s important to take not only their lifestyle, but personal preferences into consideration. This means that the essential oils mentioned in the following recipes can be replaced for ones that are more suitable for the person– just think, you could make a different blend for everyone on your list! I recommend first referring to the individualized profiles for each essential oil to make sure that it is an appropriate oil to use for that specific person.

These essential oils are both energizing and beneficial for protecting the body against pesky environmental threats. They can also work for gifts for both men and women. If you’re looking to create a blend for a man, some great essential oils to try are Cedarwood, Lime and Pine; some great oils for women are Bergamot, Geranium and Rosemary.

Looking to create something more personalized? You can try your hand at making Peppermint Body Scrub or Romantic Massage Oil. With essential oils and a creative mind, the options are endless!
