by FabulousFrannie

Essential oils can be used for a variety of reasons. Spiritual. Cleansing. Pain relief. Or simply to enjoy delightful aromas. These diverse oils have a wide array of benefits—from head to toe. In this series of blogs, we’ll discuss specific areas of the body and which essential oils can be used for particular concerns.

Peppermint
Ahhh, Peppermint! It’s hard not to be in awe of the wonders of this essential oil, especially when it comes to our heads. This refreshing oil works well for both mental and physical complaints. Peppermint can help both focus the mind and keep it alert, making it ideal for people with ADHD. High in menthol, Peppermint relieves pain associated with mild headaches. Many of you may have toothpaste made with Peppermint—and for good reason. This oil has properties that help fend off bacteria that can contribute to bad breath and gum disease.

Cornmint
Much like Peppermint, Cornmint is a fantastic oil for oral health. This oil can help soothe minor toothaches, swollen gums, and mouth sores. Cornmint can also be used in a roll-on (when diluted with a carrier) to alleviate headaches.

Angelica Root
Ease anxious feelings and exhaustion with this soothing oil. Angelica Root promotes a sense of tranquility and helps you let go of that which is harming you. This oil is beneficial in balancing the Root Chakra and is featured in our Grounded Essential Oil Blend.

Jasmine Absolute
Transport your mind with relaxing Jasmine Absolute. This stimulating oil is fantastic for those experiencing exhaustion or feelings of depression, as it invigorates the mind and improves mood. Jasmine Absolute helps you let go of stress and tension.

Spruce Black
Looking to feel more grounded and focused? Spruce Black calms the mind and boosts memory recall, making it ideal for times of meditation or other mental activity. This oil is beneficial in boosting confidence as it reduces feelings of insecurity and indecision.
