Palmarosa
Steam distilled from the stem/grass of Cymbopogon martinii, Palmarosa essential oil is sweet and floral, with a slight lemony aroma. This top/middle note oil blends well with Bergamot, Citronella, Jasmine, Lavender, Petitgrain, and Rose.

A rose by any other name… would be called Palmarosa! This essential oil is a wonderful aromatic and therapeutic substitution to the more expensive Rose.

Palmarosa is splendid for facial applications as it aids in the regulation of the production of natural oils and regenerate skin. Add a drop or two to homemade toner and spritz on after facial cleansing, at the beginning and end of the day. If you’d like to add a sweet and luxurious aroma to homemade soap or perfume, you can combine this oil with Bergamot. This oil can help ease birth pains. Medicinally, it can be used to reduce minor fevers and decongest the lungs.
