If you’re looking to learn about different essential oils, then you’re in the right place! Read below to find out more about Marjoram essential oil and its many wonders.

Marjoram
The leaves and flowering tops of Thymus mastichina are steam distilled to produce an essential oil with an aroma that’s herby, nutty, woody, and warm. A middle note oil, Marjoram blends well with Bergamot, Cedarwood, Rosewood, and Sweet Orange.

As discussed previously, Marjoram is a wonder for relieving minor joint and muscle pain. Marjoram doesn’t only settle physical tension, but emotional strain as well. This oil can be used to help relieve anxious feelings, especially those related to social interactions, by promoting a sense of comfort and connection. Spiritually, Marjoram can be used to help balance the Third Eye Chakra, which helps us in making decisions and feeling connected to our creativity. This means that it may be beneficial to use in a massage blend before or after yoga to support both the mental and physical aspects of the practice. When used in an inhaler or diffuser, Marjoram helps respiratory complaints such as asthma.
