Cinnamon Bark
With its roots in Sri Lanka, the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum is steam distilled to produce this peppery and bright essential oil with a slightly woodsy aroma. Cinnamon Bark is a middle note oil that blends well with Cedarwood, Frankincense, Lavender, Lemon, Orange and Ylang Ylang.

Heavily regarded in Chinese culture, Cinnamon Bark has been used for thousands of years as a antidepressant, cardiac enhancer, tonic and tranquilizer. It’s highly valued for its warming qualities, and can be used in massage blends to help with circulation, relieving mild muscle pain and stiffness. Cinnamon Bark is beneficial as an aphrodisiac and can be added to a diffuser to stimulate amorous feelings. You can also try using this oil to fight minor infections or aid digestion.
