If you’re looking to learn about different essential oils, then you’re in the right place! Read below to find out more about Cedarwood essential oil and its many wonders.

Cedarwood
Originally from Morocco, the wood of Cedrus atlantica is steam distilled to produce this earthy essential oil that has a sweet and spicy aroma. Cedarwood is a base note oil that blends well with Bergamot, Cassia, Clary Sage, Cypress, Frankincense, Juniper, Rosemary, Vetiver and Ylang Ylang.

Cedarwood is a fantastic oil for both men and women. With its wonderful earthy aroma, this essential oil is ideal for homemade cologne or household fragrancers (psst… it’s a great aphrodisiac too!). To fight a mild case of fungus, add a drop or two to carrier oil and apply to feet and toes. You can add Rosemary for an added antifungal punch. Store extra mixture in a roll-on bottle and place in your medicine cabinet or gym bag. Used topically, Cedarwood can also be beneficial for oily or acne-prone skin.
