Petitgrain
The leaves and twigs of Citrus aurantium are steam distilled to produce an essential oil with an aroma that’s fresh, floral, and citrusy with a woody-herbaceous undertone. This top note oil blends well with Bergamot, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Lemon Eucalyptus, Mandarin, Marjoram, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Rose, Rosemary, Sandalwood, and Ylang Ylang.
There’s nothing little about the benefits of using this marvelous oil! Did you know that Petitgrain is distilled from the same plant as two other oils? (Bitter Orange and Neroli.) But this oil is distinct and unique to itself, not only in aroma but properties as well. Like Bitter Orange, Petitgrain is a wonderful oil to use to revitalize and uplift. You can add it to homemade body washes or bath bombs. If you combine it with Geranium and Ylang Ylang, you can also enjoy its aphrodisiac properties and add some romance to your life. Looking to minimize the appearance of acne and oily skin? Petitgrain can be used in facial applications for this. Combine with other deodorizing oils like Lemon Eucalyptus and Patchouli in homemade deodorant or room spray for a fresh and pleasant aroma.
