If you’re looking to learn about different essential oils, then you’re in the right place! Read below to find out more about Cypress Blue essential oil and its many wonders.
Steam distilled from the bark of Callitris intratropica, this oil from Australia has an aroma that’s woody, sweet, fresh, and slightly reminiscent of Lemon and Cedar. Cypress Blue is a top/middle note oil that blends well with both citrus (Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon) and wood (Buddha Wood, Cedarwood, Copaiba Balsam) essential oils. As may be expected from the name, this oil is generally blue in color.
Like the citrus and wood oils that it blends so well with, Cypress Blue is a calming and grounding oil that helps balances the Root and Sacral chakras. To center your mind and spirit, place a few drops of this and Sandalwood in a diffuser before meditation or yoga. You can also add both oils to a glass spray bottle and fill with water to create a delightful room spray. Additionally, like Blue Tansy, this oil is helpful in reducing redness and inflammation in skin. Use in homemade face wash or toner. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, Cypress Blue may also be beneficial in easing asthma and minor joint pain.
