If you’re looking to learn about different essential oils, then you’re in the right place! Read below to find out more about Blood Orange essential oil and its many wonders.
Native to Italy, Citrus sinensis is cold pressed to produce this warm and radiant oil that has a fruity and tangy aroma. Blood Orange is a middle note oil that blends well with Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Lavender, Lemon, and Myrrh.
Like most citrus oils, Blood Orange is uplifting, allowing it to help restore emotional balance and reduce mental strain. For this effect, add a few of drops to a diffuser; this will allow you to enjoy the delightfully radiant aroma as well! You can also try making a refreshing room spray that will help purify the air of harmful particles. (I recommend adding Lemon and Myrrh.) Looking to soothe an upset tummy? Blood Orange may just be your new secret weapon. This oil can help remove excess gas from the intestines, which in turn alleviates mild indigestion. Combine with a carrier oil and another calming oil, like Ginger, and gently massage into the abdomen.
