If you’re looking to learn about different essential oils, then you’re in the right place! Read below to find out more about Davana essential oil and its many wonders.

Davana
Artemisia pallens is steam distilled to produce an essential oil that has a rich, sweet/herbaceous aroma with slight camphoraceous notes. This middle note oil blends well with Amyris, Basil, Bergamot, Chamomile, Cistus, Cypress, Geranium, Lavender, Mandarin, Patchouli, Vetiver, and Ylang Ylang.

While some essential oils are relatively new and less storied in their use, Davana has been appreciated for thousands of years in India for religious purposes. It’s regarded for its ability to ease feelings of anxiety, stress, irritability, and tension. Use this oil aromatically or in a relaxing bath with other grounding oils like Chamomile, Patchouli, and Vetiver. After getting a small cut or scrape, apply a diluted blend of Davana to help disinfect and prevent infection. This oil can also help reduce minor pain associated with mensuration, as well as aid breathing.
