Baking with Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Sweet Orange
The fruit of Citrus sinensis is cold pressed to produce a top note essential oil. Sweet Orange has an aroma that’s sugary and citrusy. This oil blends well with Basil, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Coriander, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Litsea Cubeba, Marjoram, Myrrh, Neroli, Nutmeg, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Rose, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang. 

Like many other citrus oils, the uses for Sweet Orange vary greatly, making it a great asset to have in any Aromatherapist’s arsenal. One of its most common applications is for the uplifting qualities that it offers. It can also help promote tranquility and alleviate feelings of anxiety or even anger. Try Calm Anger Blend in a diffuser for this powerful punch of Sweet Orange and Patchouli (also available in a Roll-On or Meltie). Sweet Orange not only eases the mind, but the body as well.
