Reduce Minor Scars with Rosehip Oil

by Isabel Corona

Cold pressed from the seeds of Rosa canina, an orange and herbaceous oil is produced. When stored properly, Rosehip oil has a 6-12 month shelf life.

Rosehip is incredibly rich in vitamin C, which has antioxidants and supports collagen production. This means that this oil can be quite beneficial in reducing the appearance of minor wrinkles and scars, and nourishing to dry skin. Rosehip also contains vitamin A, which in addition to helping with wrinkles, is great for people with mild acne. When gently massaged into affected areas, this oil can be used to ease mild joint pain (try blending with one of these oils to further alleviate discomfort).
