Traditional Chinese Medicine explores the connection between the body, mind, and spirit and the five natural elements. In this blog series, we’ll explore each of the elements individually and how to best use the specially crafted Fabulous Frannie essential oil blend to help balance it. First up, Water.
Each of the elements has a “season” of life that it captures. Much like the start of the year, we begin with winter and the element it represents: Water. Water is this season for the fact that it’s the dark cycle of ourselves that yearns for control. A part part of us that’s resisting leaning into the flow. The element of Water is related to the ideas of wisdom, trust, and intuition. When we lose touch with these, we are consumed by fear, anxiety, and even panic attacks. Some of the physical results of these are kidney issues, reduced libido, and tension in the back and legs. Like when we look into a pool of gathered water, this element reflects back to us who we are and all of the potential that we possess—if we’re willing to make the proper moves.
We’ve crafted a blend of Lavender, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Wintergreen, Sweet Orange, Helichrysum, Clove Bud and Peppermint essential oils to help target these imbalances. We suggest using our pre-diluted Water Element Blend Roll-On on various pressure points throughout the day and during times of meditation. If acupuncture is part of your lifestyle, this blend is beneficial for application along the bladder and kidney meridians.
